American Girl Classic Characters Napkins: Party Planning FAQ

What you need to know before you buy

What are the American Girl Classic Characters Napkins?

They are paper napkins from the American Girl x Bonjour Fête collaboration, featuring classic character designs. The catalog describes them as perfect for use with 18-inch dolls and their playsets, and ideal for creative storytelling and themed parties.

Are these napkins for real food or just for doll play?

The catalog positions them for doll tea parties and celebrations—adding a festive touch to doll-sized gatherings. It does not specify food-contact safety or absorbency, so treat them as decorative party supplies for doll play rather than your main napkins for guests.

How many napkins come in a pack?

The supplied information does not state a quantity per pack. Check the product page or packaging for the exact count before you plan how many packs to order.

What size are the napkins?

Dimensions are not confirmed in the supplied details. If size matters for your table setup, verify it on the product listing before purchasing.

Are they officially American Girl branded?

Yes—they are part of the American Girl x Bonjour Fête collaboration, so they carry the American Girl name and classic character artwork.

How to use them in a doll party table setting

These napkins work best as a small but intentional detail in a doll-sized celebration. Set them at each doll's place at a miniature table, or fold one under a tiny teacup to suggest a proper place setting. Because they feature classic character designs, they can also tie a real-child party table to the dolls on display—use them as coasters under real snacks or as decorative accents near a doll display.

For a cohesive look, pair the napkins with other items from the same collaboration or with your existing 18-inch doll playsets. The catalog notes they complement imaginative storytelling and special occasions, so think of them as a storytelling prop as much as a practical party supply.

Buying and planning questions

How many packs should I buy for a party?

The pack quantity is not listed in the supplied information, so start by checking the count on the product page. Then estimate one napkin per doll place setting plus a few extras for crafts or display. For a real-child party, you may want a separate set of full-size napkins for guests.

Are these napkins a good value?

At $4.75 (compared with a $6.50 catalog comparison price), they are an inexpensive way to add a themed touch. Whether they are a good value depends on the pack count and how many you need—confirm the quantity before comparing to other party napkins.

Can I use them for a birthday party favor?

The catalog doesn't list them as favors, but their small size and character design make them easy to include in a doll-themed goodie bag or craft station. If you plan to give them away, buy enough packs to cover both table use and favors.

Do they match other American Girl party supplies?

They are part of the American Girl x Bonjour Fête collaboration, so they are designed to coordinate with other items in that collection. The supplied information does not list specific matching products, but the classic character designs give you a clear theme to build around.

A quick checklist before you order

Before you add the napkins to your cart, confirm three things on the product page: the number of napkins per pack, the dimensions, and any care or safety notes. The supplied details do not include those specifics, so the listing is your best source. If you are planning a doll party table, also decide whether you need one pack for display or several for guests and activities. And if you are matching them to other party supplies, check the rest of the American Girl x Bonjour Fête line for coordinating pieces.
