Quick answer
To keep your Moana doll's accessories with Pua and Heihei in great shape and spark imaginative play, focus on gentle handling, creative storytelling, and proper storage.
Why these accessories stand out
The Disney Moana Accessories set includes Pua and Heihei, two beloved characters from the film. They are designed to be compatible with 18-inch American Girl dolls, allowing for interactive play that brings Moana's adventures to life. The set is priced at $31.68 (catalog price $48.00), offering good value for a themed play set.
Play ideas to try
Use Pua and Heihei to recreate scenes from Moana, like the journey across the ocean or the encounter with the giant crab. You can also invent new adventures, such as a beach picnic or a treasure hunt. The accessories encourage storytelling and can be combined with other doll items for extended play.
Diagnosis: Common play issues and solutions
- Symptom: Accessories (Pua or Heihei) are dropped or lost during play.
- Likely cause: Small parts can be easily misplaced when play areas are cluttered or when the accessories are not stored properly.
- Corrective action: Designate a specific storage spot, like a small bin or a dedicated shelf, for the accessories. Encourage your child to return them there after each play session. Make storage a routine to prevent loss.
- Stop or choose another option: If the accessories are consistently lost despite storage efforts, consider using a larger playset with integrated storage or a different themed set that may have fewer small pieces.
