Rapunzel Painting Accessories for American Girl Dolls: What's Included

Quick answer

The American Girl Rapunzel Painting Accessories set includes Pascal the chameleon and a variety of painting tools for 18-inch dolls. Use this guide to unbox, assemble, and set up a creative painting activity.

How to Use the Rapunzel Painting Accessories Set

1. Unbox and identify each piece: Open the package and lay out all items: the paint palette, paintbrush, easel, and Pascal the chameleon. Check that no small pieces are missing. Keep the packaging until you confirm all pieces are present.
2. Attach the palette to your doll's hand: Slide the palette over your 18-inch doll's hand so it rests in her palm. The accessory is designed to fit snugly without falling off during play. If the palette feels loose, gently pinch the opening to tighten it.
3. Position the easel for painting: Place the easel on a flat surface and lean the included canvas or paper against it. Position your doll in front of the easel so she can reach the palette. Ensure the easel is stable; avoid using it on uneven surfaces.
4. Let your doll hold the paintbrush: Insert the paintbrush into your doll's hand or between her fingers. She can now pretend to paint on the easel while holding the palette. The brush may not stay in place during active play; use a small elastic band to secure it if needed.
5. Add Pascal to the scene: Place Pascal the chameleon on your doll's shoulder, arm, or near the easel. His design allows him to perch on doll accessories. Pascal can also sit on the edge of the paint palette for a fun photo prop.
