Deciding between Raquel's Vintage Vanity and Treats Set for Girl of the Year 2026? Compare features, play styles, and value to choose the right doll playset.
Quick Answer
If your child loves imaginative dress-up and storytelling, choose Raquel's Vintage Vanity; if they prefer social play and sweet treats, the Treats Set is the more affordable pick.
Two Ways to Play with Raquel
Raquel's Vintage Vanity and Treats Set both belong to the Girl of the Year 2026 collection, but they support very different play styles. The vanity is a statement piece that transforms a doll's space into a vintage dressing room, while the Treats Set is a compact accessory pack that fits into snack breaks and dessert parties. Choosing between them depends on whether you want a centerpiece playset or a versatile add-on.
Price and Value Trade-Off
At USD 95.70 (compare at USD 145.00), the Vintage Vanity is a larger investment that brings a classic, old-fashioned look to any doll collection. The Treats Set, at USD 34.04 (compare at USD 46.00), is a budget-friendly way to expand play without committing to a big piece. If you want maximum play value per dollar, the Treats Set offers more immediate variety for less; if you want a lasting centerpiece, the vanity justifies its higher price.
Storytelling Depth vs. Social Play
The vanity encourages hours of imaginative play as your child creates dressing-room scenes and vintage makeover moments. The Treats Set, with its pretend treats, is perfect for snack breaks and dessert parties, which often involve multiple dolls or friends. Consider which kind of narrative your child enjoys most: solo styling rituals or shared social scenes.
Which One Should You Buy?
- Choose the Vintage Vanity if...: Your child loves dress-up, makeover, and vintage-themed storytelling. The vanity is a centerpiece that encourages hours of imaginative play and adds a classic look to any doll collection. Check if you have space for a larger playset before buying.
- Choose the Treats Set if...: Your child prefers social play scenes like snack breaks or dessert parties, or if you want a lower-cost way to expand play. It's also perfect for coordinating with other Girl of the Year 2026 outfits and accessories. Consider combining it with other Raquel accessories for more play options.
- For a balanced collection...: If budget allows, start with the Vintage Vanity as the centerpiece and add the Treats Set later to enhance social play scenes. This gives you both depth and variety.
